“When you have successfully contributed to the facilitation of a new life for a family in a new country, it is a great honour, which ensures that you enjoy a long-standing relationship with your clients , a friendship that surpasses the end of the attorney-client relationship”
Philip is the director and founder of Philip Law Office. He went into independent practice in 2009 and has more than a decade of experience in the legal profession. Philip is a Graduate of the University of Auckland and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from South Korea.
He is also an admitted Solicitor in New South Wales, Australia. He has vast and extensive knowledge of several areas of law; however, his primary focus is in the areas of Immigration and Property Law.
Philip was motivated to join the legal profession after he commenced work for an Immigration Consultancy firm in Auckland. During this time, he witnessed first-hand, the difficulties encountered by immigrants, especially in terms of a lack of understanding of legal processes and channels available to them.
Philip is dedicated to providing expert legal advice to the wider community, at affordable rates. He is committed to empowering people to realise their rights and remedies. In the little spare time that Philip enjoys, he spends time with his wife and young children and also donates his time and services on a pro Bono basis to members of the Korean Community.
Philip is especially proud of the difference that he has made in people’s lives, especially whilst working on difficult immigration cases over the years. He has had the pleasure of helping immigrants achieve residency status and has gone on to assist them with establishing thriving business and buying and selling their first homes in New Zealand. Philip believes in fostering long standing relationships with both his clients and employees and encourages an environment of open communication and team spirit amongst his staff.
Philip has worked towards developing a client-focused practice with a warm and friendly, family dynamic which sets Philip Law Office apart from its contemporaries.
